Terms of Service

Last updated: 5 October 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to and use of the Superhero AI platform and related services provided by Superhero AI Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 17499412, with its registered office at 71–75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom (“Superhero AI”, “we”, “us” or “our”).

By subscribing to, accessing or using Superhero AI, you agree to these Terms on behalf of the organisation you represent.

1. About Superhero AI

Superhero AI provides AI-assisted recruitment screening technology designed to work alongside an organisation's existing recruitment process.

The service may include candidate data and CV capture, extraction and verification of candidate information, role-specific screening questions, AI-generated candidate analysis, match scores, strengths, potential concerns, recruiter dashboards and other recruitment-related functionality.

Superhero AI is a decision-support and screening tool. It does not make hiring decisions on behalf of employers.

2. Business Use

Superhero AI is provided primarily to businesses and organisations involved in recruitment or hiring.

If you create an account or purchase a subscription on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you have authority to enter into these Terms on that organisation's behalf.

You are responsible for ensuring that users accessing Superhero AI through your organisation are authorised to do so.

3. Subscriptions and Fees

Access to Superhero AI may be provided through a monthly subscription or another pricing arrangement agreed between us and the customer.

Our Founding Client plan is currently offered at £249 per month, unless another price has been agreed with you.

Any applicable taxes will be dealt with in accordance with UK law. Prices shown on the website will state where VAT applies.

We may introduce additional plans, features or pricing in the future.

We will not change the price of an existing paid subscription without providing reasonable notice. Where a specific promotional, founding-client or individually agreed price has been confirmed, any additional terms relating to that price will also apply.

4. Cancellation

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, subscriptions operate on a rolling monthly basis and may be cancelled at any time.

Cancellation prevents the subscription from renewing for a further billing period. Unless otherwise agreed, amounts already paid are non-refundable and access will continue until the end of the current paid billing period.

We may offer trials, promotional periods or individually negotiated arrangements from time to time. Any additional conditions will be communicated before you agree to them.

5. Customer Responsibilities

You remain responsible for your recruitment process and for all decisions made regarding candidates.

You are responsible for:

  • ensuring vacancies and screening criteria are lawful and appropriate;

  • reviewing candidate information before making recruitment decisions;

  • ensuring users of your account have appropriate authority;

  • using candidate information only for legitimate recruitment purposes;

  • complying with applicable employment, equality, discrimination and data-protection laws; and

  • ensuring that screening questions or criteria supplied by you do not unlawfully discriminate against candidates.

Superhero AI should not be used as the sole basis for making significant decisions about a candidate.

6. Artificial Intelligence and Candidate Assessments

Superhero AI uses artificial intelligence and automated technology to assist with analysing candidate information.

AI-generated outputs may include summaries, scores, recommendations, strengths, potential concerns or other assessments.

These outputs are intended to assist human recruiters, not replace human judgement.

AI-generated information may occasionally be incomplete, inaccurate or require further review. Customers should independently assess candidates and should not rely solely on an AI-generated score, recommendation or assessment when making hiring or rejection decisions.

The customer remains responsible for the final recruitment decision.

7. Candidate Information

Superhero AI may process information supplied by candidates, including names, contact details, CVs, employment history, qualifications, skills, screening responses and other recruitment-related information.

Candidates may be given the opportunity to confirm or correct information extracted from their CV or supplied during the screening process.

Where supported by the service, information provided by candidates who begin but do not complete the full screening process may be retained and made available to the relevant recruiting organisation, subject to applicable data-protection requirements and the information provided to the candidate.

Further information about how personal data is processed is available in our Privacy Policy.

8. Data Protection

Both Superhero AI and our customers must comply with applicable data-protection legislation, including the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018 where applicable.

Depending on the circumstances, Superhero AI may process candidate personal data on behalf of a recruiting organisation.

Customers are responsible for ensuring they have an appropriate lawful basis for processing candidate information and for providing candidates with any privacy information required by law.

Where required, additional data-processing terms may be agreed between Superhero AI and the customer.

9. Acceptable Use

You must not use Superhero AI:

  • for any unlawful purpose;

  • to discriminate unlawfully against candidates;

  • to upload malicious software or attempt to compromise the platform;

  • to access information you are not authorised to access;

  • to reverse engineer, copy or reproduce the platform except where permitted by law;

  • to interfere with the operation or security of the service; or

  • in a way that infringes the rights of another person or organisation.

We may suspend access where we reasonably believe the service is being misused.

10. Service Availability and Development

We aim to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability.

Superhero AI is an evolving technology platform. We may update, improve, replace or modify features as the service develops.

We may occasionally need to restrict access for maintenance, security, upgrades or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Where practical, we will aim to minimise disruption to customers.

11. Third-Party Services

Superhero AI may interact with or rely upon third-party services, software, hosting providers, artificial-intelligence providers or recruitment technologies.

We are not responsible for failures or changes to third-party services that are outside our reasonable control.

Any third-party services used directly by a customer may also be subject to their own terms.

12. Intellectual Property

Superhero AI Ltd owns or licenses the intellectual-property rights in the Superhero AI platform, software, branding, website and associated technology.

Your subscription gives you a limited, non-exclusive and non-transferable right to use the service for your organisation's legitimate recruitment activities for the duration of your subscription.

You retain ownership of information and materials you provide to us, subject to the rights required for us to operate and provide the service.

13. Confidentiality

Each party must take reasonable steps to protect confidential information received from the other party and must not disclose such information except where necessary to provide or use the service, where authorised by the other party, or where disclosure is required by law.

14. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

Subject to the above, Superhero AI will not be liable for indirect or consequential losses, loss of profits, loss of business, loss of opportunity or loss arising from recruitment decisions made by a customer.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability arising from the service during any 12-month period will not exceed the total fees paid by the customer to Superhero AI during the 12 months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

15. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to Superhero AI where:

  • fees remain unpaid;

  • these Terms are materially breached;

  • the platform is being used unlawfully or abusively;

  • continued access creates a material security or legal risk; or

  • we are required to do so by law.

Where reasonably possible, we will provide notice and an opportunity to remedy a breach before terminating access.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as Superhero AI develops or where changes are required for legal, regulatory or operational reasons.

Where a change materially affects an existing customer's rights or obligations, we will provide reasonable notice where practicable.

The latest version will be available on our website.

17. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

The courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction over disputes arising in connection with these Terms, subject to any mandatory legal rights that apply.
